A Damaged Canoe Makes For A Bad Day.

With canoeing season here, please be safe and do not try to canoe down any moving water without prior experience and/or instruction. A damaged canoe look so bloody unhappy, and is such a waste of a beautiful thing!

  1. This reminds me of a time I almost blew apart a beauty cedar strip after getting caught up taking pictures. Rapids tend to sneak up on you when you least expect it haha.

  3. Yikes! Pictures 4 and 6 look like crushed pop cans - I've never seen a canoe in that condition, ever. I clearly don't have the nerve for rapids (yet).

  4. @Lily, Well I really would not say attempt rapids until you at least take a weekend beginners course some where. If your in Ontario there are plenty available.
